Production methods

(1) The sulfonation reaction of dodecyl alcohol and chlorosulfonic acid (molar ratio: 1.03) was carried out at 30 ~ 35°C, and the resulting sulfonate was neutralized with 30% sodium hydroxide to produce sodium dodecyl sulfate, which was bleached with hydrogen peroxide and spray dried to obtain the finished product

(2) Lauryl sulfate is formed from dodecyl alcohol and chlorosulfonic acid by sulfuric acid at 40 ~ 50°C, neutralized by sodium hydrooxidation, bleaching, sedimentation and spray drying

(3) The sulfur trioxide reaction device is a vertical reactor. Nitrogen is fed into the reactor through a vent below the 32 bar. The nitrogen flow rate was 85.9L/min. The liquid sulfur trioxide was injected into the flash evaporator at a flow rate of 58g/mino at 82.7 kpa. (5) The continuous reaction device is a tubular reactor. The lauryl alcohol was first saturated with hydrogen chloride. Then the hydrogen chloride solution of lauryl alcohol was passed into the reactor at 21.4 °C to react with chlorosulfonic acid. After gas-liquid separation of the reactants, the sulfated products flow from the bottom of the separator into the neutralizing kettle.
